Enhancing HVAC Machine Assembly: Empowering Structural Integrity and Performance through FEA Analysis

Challenge

The client required FEA analysis for their machine assembly as they faced unnecessary costs associated with trial and error in design iterations without FEA which raised concerns about potential design flaws, weak points, and failure risks, compromising overall product quality and reliability.

Our Solutions

  • We used SolidWorks to bring design simulation directly into the early product development process when key decisions are made.
  • Understand the product behaviour and kinematics in detail to Validate the design decisions as per the customer requirements.
  • Simulated the assembly under various test conditions to obtain stress, strain, displacement and FOS.
  • Delivered the post processing results and optimized model to the customer in order to enhance their design and manufacturing of the assembly.

Results

  • The analysed reports helped the customer to understand the behaviour of the assembly under various load conditions.
  • Helped the customer to use the optimized design for pin based on loading cases.
