Plant Simulation Solutions

Smart Solutions for Smarter Plant Operations

In today’s dynamic industrial environment, relying on guesswork can lead to costly inefficiencies. Our plant simulation services, powered by advanced platforms like Tecnomatix and FlexSim, enable manufacturers to create accurate, data-driven digital models of their entire production systems. Tecnomatix Plant Simulation Services of MNES help evaluate manufacturing workflows, optimize factory layouts, test material flow strategies, and forecast production bottlenecks—all before implementing changes on the shop floor. By leveraging discrete event simulation, production planning, and what-if scenario analysis, we support smarter, more agile decision-making. Whether you’re launching a new line or scaling up operations, our simulation solutions reduce risk, improve resource utilization, and boost throughput efficiency, helping you enhance overall plant performance while lowering operational costs.

Tecnomatix Plant Simulation for Manufacturers

Benefits of Plant Simulation

Reduce movement and wait time with optimized plant layouts
Test changes virtually before making real-world investments
Balance line operations and enhance production efficiency
Save on CAPEX & OPEX via digital validation
Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement with data-driven simulation

MN Engineering Solutions partnered with a U.S.-based FMCG manufacturer to simulate and design an automated material handling system using FlexSim. The project aimed to eliminate human touchpoints to improve hygiene and reduce manual errors in component unpacking and assembly line feeding. By analyzing the current process and envisioning a future state, the team designed a fully automated system integrating AGVs for transport, automated packing material removal, and just-in-time component delivery. The solution was validated through simulation trials and led to enhanced system hygiene, improved operational efficiency, and increased overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).

FAQs

1. What is plant simulation?

Plant simulation is the use of digital modeling tools to replicate and analyze production processes, factory layouts, and material flow. It helps manufacturers test and optimize operations virtually before implementing changes on the shop floor.

2. Why is plant simulation important in manufacturing?

It allows manufacturers to identify bottlenecks, reduce waste, improve line balancing, and enhance throughput without disrupting actual production—saving time and cost.

3. Who benefits from plant simulation?

Manufacturers in automotive, electronics, pharma, FMCG, aerospace, and more benefit from virtual commissioning and layout testing.

4. How does plant simulation support digital transformation?

By creating a digital replica of the plant, simulation helps companies shift toward smart manufacturing, enabling data-driven decisions, virtual commissioning, and continuous improvement.

5. Can I simulate my current factory layout using FlexSim or Technomatix plant simulation?

Absolutely. We import your CAD layouts, process flows, and historical data to build a realistic simulation.

6. Do you support custom KPIs and reporting?

Yes. You can include KPIs like downtime, utilization, throughput, and OEE—all displayed in dashboards or reports.

Let’s start your project to be realized.

We’re committed to empowering manufacturers with data-driven planning. Optimize layout, logistics, and system performance virtually—before you break ground.
